How to run a defensible 30-minute farm test
2. Run three equal trials
Test the route for 30 active minutes three times. Keep travel, queue, competition, deaths, and interruptions in the timer when they are part of the repeatable route.
3. Separate earnings from inventory
Add raw gold, vendor proceeds, and completed Auction House receipts after fees. Subtract consumed materials, purchased inputs, and lost deposits once. Record unsold inventory separately, with its valuation time; it is not earned gold.
4. Publish the median and range
Double each 30-minute net result, report the middle hourly rate as the median, and show the lowest-to-highest range. Repeat on another reset before calling the result durable.
